The 5 mm thin black walnut shell delivers distinctive punchy sound that helps the drum sing at low volumes, while harder maple reinforcement rings make the snare rigid enough for rock music as well, delivering a nice throaty crack when you lay into it.
Features aluminum hardware with single-point tube lugs. Available in satin and gloss finishes.
