Item Description
A vintage-style drum brush for classic swish tones.
Vintage inspired! A throwback to old-school brushes from decades ago. Going through Jack Adams’ [Alan Vater’s Grandfather] cases, we came across some vintage brushes made specifically for Jack when he owned and operated Jack’s Drum Shop in Boston, along with playing jazz and big band himself.
The Beantown Brush grip measures .530” for a lighter and quicker feel combined with a thinner gauge wire for more flex and a soft sound with plenty of classic swish tonality. The rubber grip’s reddish-brown color is a nod to both the vintage brush era, and Boston’s nickname of “Beantown”, where Vater’s drumstick making history began in the basement of Jack’s Drum Shop.Specifically crafted for drummers seeking a blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality, the Vater Beantown Brush provides unmatched control and comfort. Its lightweight design and ergonomic grip make it ideal for extended sessions, while the thinner wires enhance articulation and dynamic expression. Whether you're performing in an intimate jazz club or recording delicate brushwork in the studio, this brush excels at delivering nuanced sound with a timeless feel. Invest in the Vater Beantown Brush today and bring a piece of Boston's drumming heritage to your setup.
