Size Matters
Snare wire length is not a literal measure. Sizing is listed using the same industry standards as "drum size" & "head size".
EXAMPLE - a 14" wire mates with a 14" head, which mates with a 14" drum shell... none of which are literally, exactly 14".

The 14" 16-strand PureSound Vintage wires for the Rogers Dynasonic are designed specifically to accommodate the unique snare mounting system. Both end-plates have a 1/8" hole in the center for mounting to the snare strainer frame.

- Mounting hole spacing is 12-3/4" center-to-center.
