This is a complete 38 piece Do It Yourself snare drum kit. No finish needed, just drill for parts (or choose pre-drilled) , assemble, tune, and play!

Added up separately from our discounted website prices alll these parts would be over $350.00.

INCLUDES: 8x14 Black Brass shell complete with bearing edges (flat wall style no center bead) snare bed, shell ready for you to drill out (or choose pre-drilled) for all included parts. Pro brand top/bottom heads. 2.3 chrome triple flanged 8 hole hoops. Strainer and butt plate. Chrome over brass tube lugs. 14 inch snare wires. 16 Tension rods.

NOTE : Parts may vary from photo based on availability. 1-3 week custom drilled shell lead time.

  • Good afternoon! Im looking at building one of these to convert to an electronic snare. I wont need the strainer, wires, heads, etc. Essentially just the drilled shell, hoops and lugs. Would it be possible to get a quote on that? Thank you!

  • how long are the tube lugs on the black brass snare kit?

    On this DIY kit, the tube lugs are about 4.5 inches long.

  • does the kit come with a throw-off. I don't see ne in any of the pictures. If it needs a throw-off, what else do I need to actually make it complete?

    The throw off is included. 100% of the needed parts, items, heads are included.

  • Could this be done but with 10 lug set up with dicast hoops, 42 strand snare wires and a trick throw off?
